Eden-only repo causing trouble
#1
I just learned the hard way that you branched the official repo and added an eden-only part. Stuff got pushed there and broke some older builds due to unmet dependencies. Could you point me to where this was annouced ?

I was able to add it as a html source and manually install this and that but my question is:
is the version-dependent official repo path ( http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/eden-pre/ )hardcoded or it can be manipulated without recompilation? Or simply how to make eden-pre read the eden repo for updates?

I totally forgot I knew this Smile

/Applications/XBMC.frappliance/XBMCData/XBMCHome/addons/repository.xbmc.org/addon.xml

After a repo refresh all starts flowing again.
Is eden-pre repository done for? Are you pushing only to the eden from now on?

Yeah, from how on we will be using the final Eden repo (which, at the time it was made, should be a duplicate of Eden-pre). Some skins might show up as broken because we want to make sure the skin devs are up on some of the late changes, but everything should still work.
