Hey guys,
today I tried installing the new XBMC Eden Ubuntu Version (XBMCbuntu)
So I downloaded the file from xbmc.org and created a bootable USB Stick with unetbootin.
After plugin the Stick into my HTPC (currently running XBMC Dharma) I got the the point where I have to chose what to do
Installing with fixed DPI
Installing "normal style"
Just testing
check disk for errors etc.
So at first I tried installing (normal)
But after the loading screen (XBMC UBuntu 11.10) there is nothing ... black screen and nothing happens
So i tried installing with fixed DPI ... but the same blackscreen appears.
Edit: So i tried running "live mode" ... but the same error appears.
I even tried installing the ISO with the LiLi Daemon but nothing changed.
BUT for one milisecond! before the blackscreen appears I could read something like "stopping CPU blablablabla" or something like that.
Somebody knows how to fix this error?
I'm running a C2D E6400 on a Zotac ITX with GF9300 onboard (via HDMI) connected to y 59" Samsung Plasma
I would be very thankful for any idea about how to fix this error
