EDEN on ASROCK 330 ION
#1
Hi,

i am running an older version of XBMC for many month now on my ASROCK 330 ION.

Now i need a reinstall and clean up, so i wand to upgrade to the latest version.
During the last install i had to change many things manually.... LIRC for example.

What is the expirience with the latest xmbcbuntu release ?!

Any "manual" changes needed ? Or will it run out of the box ?

At the moment i have not much time but i am very interested in the latest features.
Thnx in advance!

The remote works fine on ASROCK ION 330 and ASROCK ION 330 HT.
HDMI sound was fine directly, spdif was confusing but I got it to work within 5minutes.

I'm in the exact same position here, I have my ION 330 first generation with the original xbox dvd remote and dongle and I hope it will work out of the box

My first gen ION 330 worked out of the box with EDEN where in previous versions I'd have to monkey with the mixer settings and HDMI audio output. This time it just worked. I use the Microsoft MCE Remote which required no configuration on my part.

Solid release so far for ION 330 users in my opinion.

Did the reinstall today.
Worked great! everything works (audio settings have to be changed to IEC895).

Great expirience so far!

Hi,

I have run one too many apt-upgrades I think, including Nvidia drivers. Thrashing guisettings.xml at least got XBMC starting again, but now I can't get any sound. On my ASRock 330 Ion, what exactly
should the sound settings be? I'm only using HDMI for picture + sound.
