Hello all,

didn't find a thread concerning this Product, therefore I opended one.
I'm looking for a NAS System to store my data but also for my xbmc content.

This seems to be a good solutions, i guess:
http://www.eonnas.com/de/products/soho-s...as-pro-500

It is a TimeMachine compatible, ZFS based, NAS solution.

I wanted to ask you guys, if this is a good solutions or not.
Do you think it would work for xbmc?

Most important is:
1: TimeMachine
2: xbmc
3: easy-to-use GUI

I have a Mac Mini as HT"PC" and also an iMac.
It would be wonderful, if you could check the stats of this unit.

Thank you very much for your opinion.

This sounds an awful like a prepackaged FreeNAS built PC. http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Apple_(...me_Machine

I'd advise you to look into that avenue on your own - use this server specs as a template perhaps. You'll always get the most options + flexibility with 'roll-your-own' solutions. You just need to invest the time...and money of course but you'll pay more for solutions like this.

In short this sounds OK and would work with XBMC, your Apples, etc - but if you do yourself you'd be better off in the long run.
If I helped out pls give me a +

A bunch of XBMC instances, big-ass screen in the basement + a 20TB FreeBSD, ZFS server.
