integrate encoding to the corresponding language file
english - default charset - western europe
polish - default charset - central europe
etc

this sounds like a very nice suggestion.
perhaps those that maintain the various language files could suggest the best charset (as specified in xbmc) for their particular language, and i'll look into adding it.
