Installed XBMCbuntu Eden, but when booting it pauses at 'Checking battery state...'

Prior to that it also states 'Unable to load LIRC kernel modules. Verify selected kernel modules in etc/lirc/hardware.conf '

Can you anyone help?


edit: and just rebooted and this time it stopped on 'Starting LightDM Display Manager'
