I use XBMC with Confluence skin on my Panasonic 50VT30 Plasma TV. Because my TV is not free from image retention and burn in problems I tried to set my xbmc skin to prevent this effects. In the main menu I use the poster slide show but there is another problem while playing a movie. After I switch to pause, the image starts dimming a few minutes later. Is there a way to setup the dimming times and effect? Also the OSD Pause bubble is shown. Is it possible that it does not show all the time. It would be fine if the OSD pause bubble will disappear after a few seconds.

Can you simply not allow the screen saver to kick in after 3 minutes...all I've done on my end.

I think I've found a solution. When I deactivate the dimming while video playback, the screensaver will kick in after 60 sec. Not exactly what I wanted but also working. THX for your hint.
