Hey all,
Both XBMC and Plex will spontaneously freeze in menue and video playback for several seconds, then 'unfreeze; again. Additionally, if I alt-tab out, it seems to unfreeze instantly which makes me think it's not a hardware/system lag issue. Any ideas, I tried Plex after knowing they share similar source.

Ahh, what does Plex have to do with XBMC ? Their code base is ancient and outdated and has very little in common with the current XBMC for OSX mainline code.
