Can someone compile pvr add-ons for Latest Frodo Nightly?
#1
Is it possible for someone to compile the Mediaportal PVR addon here - https://github.com/opdenkamp/xbmc-pvr-ad...ter/README
and share it. Let me know if this isn't allowed

I'm not the greatest at compiling and not got visual studio at the moment.

I take it with the latest frodo nightly I just add this compiled add-on and it would work ?

I compiled them but the one I actually wanted/needed to use so I could do some skin dev didn't actually want to run (for the record) on the master version of win32 for me. So its quite possible that they may not work with the current builds yet anyway

Of course they are meant to work Smile with the pvr merge being so new its quite possible all the bugs aren't fixed just yet. As the addons are put in the new repo and refactored for the API changes everything should even out. Patience!

Hey Guys,
Im not sure if this is legal or not, but here is a link to a zip with the builds -> http://www.dotnetdevelopers.net/pvr.zip

I know the ForTheRecord addon works great. The MediaPortal addon works but RTSP does not work, so don't enable it.

This is a build as of yesterday (there havent been any changes in the past 18 hours so I didnt pull a new copy this morning.)

Ok not sure what you did here but your For the record plugin does work I even had Margro check the one in git (from yesterday) for me and he confirmed that it didn't work anymore and he too was getting crashes and he is the guy who codes it Confused so whats so different about yours did you change anything or is it just an older version of the addon

Looking at the size of the pvrs, it seems that they're compiled in debug mode so maybe that's why FTR works (I also had crashes with my own release build of FTR)

There was a commit 12 hours ago to the HTS add-on, is there anyway we can recompile to get that? Current one doesn't work. Much appreciated! Smile

Im trying to get the PVR demo addon working on Win7 from this zip file but im having no luckSad If I understand the Readme files Im just supposed to replace the "pvr.demo" folder in my addons folder with the one from the zip file. But im getting the "No PVR service started" error everytime i start it, and the demo addon is enabled in xbmc. Anybody got some pointers?

btw are the addons in the zip file only compatible with a specific version of XBMC?

@sajk: yes, the addons from the zipfile are only compatible with the official XBMC nigthly builds after September 4th. According to your log file, your build is older and has an incompatible PVR API.
