I'm just wondering if it's possible via python.

The idea is to select a song from files or library on one machine, intercept the play command so it doesn't play on that machine and sends the play command to another xbmc machine. All machines share the same mysql db.

if so, is there already a add on that overrides a play command? so i can have a look at the code.
