Bug [RPI] avi video playback
#1
Hi,

I find that only .mkv and .mp4 videos play on all the latest releases.
It seems that most videos don't play anymore.
any video with .avi container is a big no for xbmc..
I use openelec release r12001, Any release newer than this one does not work.
So i have to revert to an older release with an older xbmc everytime..
For a mediacenter this is not well.

Hope you guys can fix this soon.

We need an actual sample. The file is only 6MB. Can you post it somewhere?
Dropbox is a suitable place.

Same problem here. All other formats play fine. AVI's don't. tried installing ubuntu-restricted-extras but that didn't work Sad

The sample file @Andries007 posted plays fine for me.

What distribution are you using? Is it a latest build?
