Tvheadend + RPi IPTV not working
#1
A while ago, IPTV via tvheadend stopped working. I only get black screen with dvb subtitles, that don't disappear. When I stop, I can see a video frame before returning to PVR view.

Is there any estimate when this will be fixed, as on other OS, XBMC PVR via tvheadend is working perfectly.

I don't have a way of reproducing the problem.
@gimli, can you dump the extradata and the first few frames of video data to a file, and I'll see if I can debug that?

It involves rebuilding xbmc with fwrite calls in the right places.

I do not have a rpi build env in place. Maybe sraue (openelec) can build a test build, not sure he knows where to put the fwrites.

I got the same problem, black screen and when i press stop a single frame quickly flickers. It is the same both with HD (h.264) and SD (MPEG2) channels. I got the license for MPEG2.

The problem only exists with HTSP, when I record something it plays just fine from the MKV.

The same issue here with the latest nightly build from Raspbmc, except that I try to watch h264 encoded channels.
If there is a documentation that describes how to collect the required data for debugging plesase point to it and i will try to do it.
