I have been running XBMCbuntu for the last couple of years on Asus barebone P4-P5N9300 (ion1) with a E5200 procesor and 4gb of ram . Recently I bought a AV receiver which supports a hd audio and have been looking to upgrade since ION 1 does not support HD audio. Initially I just wanted to put a new graphic card in, but after realizing that I will be unable to fit it in the chasis and that the system has been getting progressively loader over the years I decided to look for something new.
I found a good deal on a Zotac mini-PC ZBOX Blu-ray 3D ID36 but other than having and ION2 graphics I am afraid that it will not be real upgrade on my current system.
On the other hand Intel NUC barebone looks perfect but I am unsure how intel graphics work with Linux (hd audio, 3d 1080p?)
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
