Is there a guide on how to do this with a ATV2

Follow the how to install links in the first Important Thread (sticky) above...the one that says "read this before posting" Basically you need to ssh into your apple tv and run apt-get remove org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2 the decide whether you want to keep or move your user data. Then install Eden.

Out of interest were you using SMB shares?

I will have a look, sorry missed the remove part as I have been using the wiki to install eden and frodo and they worked well.

Yes its on SMB shares, having problems with all the shares from my nas with Frodo.
