[WARNING] ASRock FM2A75M-ITX & Gelid Slim Silence

Exclamation
Hi all .... finished assembling up new HTPC last week ... and setting up all software & IR (inc. harmony config) a couple of days ago... so only had time to post this now.

Wesena ITX5 - w/o drive 'cage' in place.

A word of warning to those using an ASRock FM2A75M-ITX motherboard and the Gelid Slim Silence cooler (probably other coolers with own retention mechanisms too).

On replacing the factory HSF retention mech. with the Gelid one I realised there's a 'chip' (transistor / voltage regulator) in the way which would end up taking the tension of the tightened heatsink. I recommend installing ~5mm worth of nylon washers on each of the 4 posts before installing the base to the motherboard - I was lucky enough to have a few running around.

Not sure that I'll be building using this case, MOBO, or cooler,.....but even still,....

Awesome for you to show us all how to pay attention to detail when building!
Something that can seem like it's no big deal,..could actually cause "head-scratching" hours of troubleshooting.

Much appreciated!
