hi,

the imdb function is great but its only really visible when browsing films if you use thumbnail mode which is not a mode i use a lot since its hard to find the movie i am after!  

it would be great when browsing the movie directorys in "list" mode to get a sort of preview pane or summary of the currently selected movie - imdb title, imdb film poster and imdb main actors ... that would make browsing the many movies you have more informative with more than just the file name and it would really highlight the usefulness of the imdb connectivity!

it would also be great if when you had done an imdb search that it relaces the filename for that entry with the "official" film name...

comments.. ideas??

to get the thumb nail previews, do you have to 'scan' first?

yes,

a scan needs to be done for each movie file (otherwise a batched scan would be useful for all files in a directory).

so once the scan is done and all the info is stored in the imdb folder (as it is today) you then see all the major movie info in a side window as you scroll down the list. you can then click the white button to get "more info"

... just a wishful thought!!
