I'm using a harmony remote and want to be able to power everything down as normal except if there is something recording then for the computer to stay on till it finishes. As far as I can tell this should all be possible with power schedular in media portal but no matter what I do, the settings in it have no effect on my power functions?? I'm running windows 8, could this be the problem? I've tried to download power schedular++ but this won't install properly saying access denied. I have all the other functionality I want from settings in xbmc as in waking up to record a program and hibernating if idle for a while but just can't get it to refuse hibernation while recording. Anyone got this working on windows 8?
