I just updated to Frodo on my iPad but it won't boot up it just stays in a black screen. I deleted it and the files at preference in iFile and reinstalled it but it still won't boot up. Any help I would appreciate.

Odd. Can you nab the crashlog too? See iOS FAQ (wiki) for crashlog location.

Bug
Same here on Apple tv 2 , Updated to frodo 12 now black screen then followed by instant reboot. Been having the same sort of problem with the Linux based xbmc on the pivos android ds. But it doesnt reboot right away just a few minutes after running a program. Updated to a nightly and it went away even though the nightly was older then the official release. Afraid to try 12 on the DS. Figured these problems would be fixed instantly considering ALL m3 DS's were doing it !!??. Sorry for the off topic just wanted to shed a little light as to whats going on widespread.

Mine locks up as soon as it starts with a dialogue box "The art cache in your video library needs updating. Now download needed. Would you like to do it now? YES NO"

Thats it. Just sits there. Locked up.

Any ideas>

Cheers

Well I seem to have fixed it.

I went in with a file manager (I used IFunbox on PC) and searched for EVERY reference to XBMC and deleted the lot.

Booting up fine. Time will tell if it continues to do so.

I have the exact same problem as mikeypr, iFile doesn't find any files with xbmc in it for me to strip, can anyone help?

XMBC opens, but immediately has a dialog box with Library Update as the header: "The art cache in your video library needs updating. No downloading is needed. Would you like to update it now?" and a Yes or No button underneath. Nothing responds to my touch, including the 'x' on the dialog box.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I've been looking for an answer most of the day today...
