Hi,
I am working on a plugin that should serve as a replacement for the xbmc built in bookmark functionality.
Here is a list of additional functionality for my extended bookmarks:
1.) Bookmark has also end time information
2.) Bookmark plays until endtime is reached. Then player is stopped
3.) Bookmark has a name
4.) Bookmark can be assigned to a variable list of tags
5.) Bookmarks can be browsed by name
6.) Bookmarks can be browsed by tags
While handling created bookmarks as stated in 1 - 6 isn't a big deal it's creation is though: Is there any way to customize the video osd? Can I add a button to it or to any other part of the screen that is visible while playing the video? I would like to have a "from" and a "to" button. While playing a video pressing first "from" and then "to" will create a new bookmark.
Any suggestions?
