I am newbie so please

I am using xbmc 12.1 with PVR VU+, it is working just fine . I have dream box 800 HD se and it is working just fine too.
But the DM800 must be in standby OFF or the XBMC Live tv is not working. Is it normal?

If I start the satellite receiver on ON I cannot use the PVR on XBMC.

Is this a single tuner box? If so then you should enable the "zap before channelswitch" option in the addon settings.
