i noticed the following changes in the past two releases of xbmc when playing music:

1. smb share browsing has slowed down a lot
2. when selecting a song to play, the title in the lower left is the file name of the mp3...in the past it would fade artist, title, year, etc...
3. when the song plays in the lower left, i used to see the album cover, but now i just get the default icon.

am i missing a setting? these things worked fine in the 1-15-04 release.

have you scanned your music files again

since 1-15-04 the database has changed
and the old information can't be reused.
