Hello I saw a post a few hundred pages back asking about Disable Watched Flagging not working and Lunatixz replied it may require tweaking, should it be working already? It isn't for me, even though it's also enabled in the settings file just like the previous poster. I really hope this would work since I use the addon LazyTV and when I try pseudotv it messes up my list bad, so watching pseudotv really isn't an option if Disable Watched Flagging doesn't work. Thanks for the addon and all your work!

Not sure if its working, haven't touched it in awhile... probably doesn't... if its not fixed within the next few weeks, remind me and i'll get it done.

I wanted to do a live performances channel with the vevo tv plugin since it's the only addon that has a genre specific live performance section but it won't parse. Is this possible?

No, I'm not sure you understand how this plugin works. In the pictures in the first post, they are not live channels, they are channels made up with locally stored media files. As far as I'm aware, outside of USTVNow, PseudoTV Live doesnt autotune any live TV.

Indeed I am, which is silly since I use the PVR backend :p

I think I instantly thought the user was looking for streaming media, so the PVR didn't even occur to me

The backend means you get TV to your computer in the same way you would a television. For example I have a DVB-S PCI card inside my PC tower, and that is connected to the satellite dish on top of my house. I can then receive the exact same service through that as I would on the FreeSat service here in the UK. It doesn't run through the internet (although you can get some that do, I've never used them).

noob question I've searched Changing channel resets.....as many ways as I can so I'm sorry if this has already been answered but I couldn't find it.

Is there a fix for when I'm switch channels the channel I'm switching to media resets. Meaning the guide shows the movie is half way over but when I turn to that channel the movie starts over.... or the tv show starts over.

Any help would be appreciated

The log suggests it's a permissions error. For some reason PLTV can't access and rename the EPG files it's trying to make. I guess it's the Android OS denying Kodi.

Hmmm. I'm rooted and Kodi should have superuser permissions. At least, that's what I see when I open Kodi (superuser access granted on multiple levels). All previous versions of PTVL have been able to load the YT Playlists w/ no problem before.

UPDATE: I uninstalled PTVL as my last resort, in an attempt to start with a fresh reinstall, and lost everything. Well, not everything! I have more than a few S2s laying around and some intense notes and code snippets. I did lose PTVLIVE, however. It's no longer visible in the repo. Only PTVLITE, which is unable to host YT channels. Is my device preventing me from seeing PTVLIVE? My android box is pretty robust and seemed to run the latest version of PTVLIVE waaay smoother than PTVLITE, sans the YT issue.

even though it showed active on http://www.downforeveryone.com/

so after some digging it appears that if I change my dns settings to anything other than my internet providers dns
It works just fine. (currently just changed it to OpenDNS )

My only guess is that my provider (charter) is blocking the IP for pseudotvlive.com

this could be an error that will fix itself...
However, my fear is that they are targeting pseudotvlive

I've had DNS issues with my server as well, My server guy assures me it's on my end... and that the majority of users don't have problems.

I personally did the following which fixed my issues...
1. flushdns on pc and router
2. switched dns provider (google or opendns)
3. If 1&2 doesn't work, try changing the "WAN" mac address in your router's configurations to either clonepc or random. You will have to manually reboot both the router and modem after changing mac.
