hey all im after a little help if possible please
1) what would you have to do in order to make the background go darker when entering movies/tv shows library?, like the old confluence did when you entered showcase view. see pic below for what i mean, you can see the fanart to much it should be darkened. Is it a case of it darkening or does it display some form of a semi transparent background from the textures.xpr?
2) if iv moved something from below the home screen menu bar to above it, why do i still have to press down to select it? how do i change it so i would press up to select it and make it feel more natural
3)how do i make it say Showcase here?

1) Add a transparent image control above the fanart and below the other controls

2) Look for <onup>, <ondown> and so on, those define which control is activated when you press up and down. You will need the addon id from the includes file.

3) Search for string "viewtype label", probably in the ViewsVideoLibrary if you follow original coding style of not using separate files for each of the view.
