Windows 7/8 - MiniHTPC or HTPC - $350 Max Budget

First and foremost I need a PC that will run windows 7 or 8 smoothly. I will not be gaming at all on this PC. I will be use this PC to mostly surf, download, office, attach to my monitor, and eventually run XBMC.

My 2005 PC finally gave out. I really need something as soon as possible. I currently will be recycling two SATA HDD and still have an old DVD burner I use to burn Xbox 360 games. My main concern is to somehow to recycle these two HDD for my next build. I know there are cases in order to enclose the HDD and use USB to connnect them but I would prefer to just attach my two HDD in my next build for a cleaner build. Not sure of HTPC case would suffice for this.

Other requirements would be USB 3.0, and be able to attach to my monitor which has DVI. That's pretty much my only requirements. Also it would be nice for it to be quiet in order to watch movies.

Also I'm not sure which would serve my needs best? A mini-atx or htpc case as well.

Hey I saw that I didn't get any responses so I put this together. I'm a little over budget given I went with the highest priced CPU for my needs. I'm at $380 without a PSU. Not sure if this will fit my needs? Not sure if this is overkill for what I need? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

32gb ssd is going to be real tight for any windows install, especially if its going to double as a desktop machine. Also do you need all the features on the motherboard? If not, that would be a area where you could save some money. Also intels haswell cpu's are coming out now, have you priced them up?

I definitely need usb 3.0, DVI, HDMI, but not sure what else it comes with? Also are prices dropping given Haswell is coming out?

I would go Haswell if you can, especially since the price is nearly the same. If you don't need 3D, you can get these:

ASUS H81M-A LGA 1150 Intel H81 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6813132044
$64.99 + $6.98 shipping

Intel Pentium G3220 Haswell 3.0GHz LGA 1150 54W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646G3220
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6819116950
$69.99

And have a very nice HTPC in the case you have above. You need a decent power supply too.

SeaSonic SS-300ET Bronze 300W ATX12V V2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - OEM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6817151086

Will I need more than 32 GB for a SSD? I plan install programs but won't be storing anything on it obviously.
