This is currently being discussed here http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=216044... The addon kind of works like that. Sports isn't currently a media type that Kodi uses like Movies or TV Shows... So when it's ready I'm planning on making a custom Main Menu Item that starts the addon form the main menu. Enen92 has made great strides with the addon I suggest checking it out http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=216044 .

@zag, sorry to bother you.
I am trying to get events on "my database" to list. Can you explain what the difference is between event thumb and event fanart? I understand that poster is like movie posters but I can't see fit for an event thumb, specially with that huge resolution (720p).

Can you provide some examples of events with this type of art defined on thesportsdb?

As already mentioned some posts ago, I would prefer the thumb in the standard size of 500x281 pixels as it usually used for TV shows

Kodi 14.1 + Aeon MQ 5 mod for Helix
Mac Mini (late 2014) + OS X 10.10.3 Yosemite + iOmega MiniMax Desktop + NewerTech miniStack
Sony Bravia 42" + Sony DAV-F200
---------------------
Kodi 14 RC 2 + Aeon Nox 5
iMac 24" (early 2009) + OS X 10.10.3 Yosemite (test set-up)

Yes, that's what I think as well. For lower dimension images priority is given to event fanart, then if fanart is not available -> thumb, then probably user defined priority fanart (stadium, hometeam fanarts, league fanart...). I will ignore thumbs as fanart in my addon. Will use it (if available) only for smaller images.
Well, now only at night. Big game coming Big Grin

Is this working yet? Is there an add-on that needs to be downloaded?

You will. Addons like these are huge. People usually forget the work and time that one needs to put into get stuff like this to work. Just for you to have an idea, the addon above is probably 60% finished for 1 skin and has already 82596 lines of code (of course counting with the lines for skin windows xml files).

Oh I know it's not easy. If it was easy, I would have done it myself.

Just a small improvement for soccer but I have written a quick lookup for Football Manager ID's

http://www.thesportsdb.com/pmsearch.php

Unfortunately the only database that I could find was from 2009. Let me know if anyone has an updated one.

This allows you to search for a player and find a transparent "cutout" of the players face from various places around the internet.
