frodo reinstall slow to open and freezing
#1
So I recently decided to do a bit of tidying and uninstalled gotham.

I then decided to reinstall frodo. After clicking on the shortcut it takes ages to load up, but when I click on file manager it freezes.
At this stage I have tried all the usual fixes, rolled back/updated graphics card driver, reinstalled eden but without sucess.

At present I have a fresh installed graphics driver nvidia geforce 8400, and fresh install frodo, but the problem persists. It did however let me set debug logging so I include that below. Also I have downloaded it directly to the c drive if thats relevant.

Many thanks for any suggestions or help

The log shown is only for 5 seconds... doesn't seem ages to me. I digress, I'm a little concerned that you may have lingering Gotham code creating issues.

So you deleted

C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC or in your 32bit case it would be C:\Program Files\XBMC
and C:\Users\Your Named Computer\AppData\Roaming\XBMC

if you left the roaming folder.... that's the issue. Rename or delete and re-install.

Many thanks for your reply.
I have been using the delete that folder option when uninstalling xbmc and a quick search afterward s indicate no remaining xbmc files or folders. Only being mildly tech savvy I'm puzzled by the gui master profile error (shown early on in my first debug log) and wonder is that indicative of a problem.
Anyway I have tried to run it again today, as administrator,(it takes a long time to appear ) and still have the same problem so I include a new log below. Again thank you for your assistance and I hope we can find a solution as I was really starting to enjoy and getting to grips with xbmc

Considering you have had previous build successfully working, either something on your system has changed (software or hardware) or you're not starting fresh.

delete or rename these file to "OLD_NON_WORKING_XBMC".

C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC or in your 32bit case it would be C:\Program Files\XBMC
and
C:\Users\Your Named Computer\AppData\Roaming\XBMC

If a fresh install of stable Frodo, fails.. I'll point back at the present O/S & Hardware.

Thank you for your assistance, but even after doing what you suggested the problem persists.
I enclose my latest debug log and maybe we can crack this as its very puzzling. Again thank you for your time and assistance.
