DTS Audio-CD support (and DTS Audio-CD ISO/IMG/NRG images)?
#46
XBox cannot output anything other than 48kHz.

Doesn't matter which hole it comes out, it's converted to 48kHz first.

Upsampled 44.1kHz "DTS encoded noise" is no longer recognisable as being DTS encoded. Doesn't matter what receiver/amp is involved - it'll just produce the nasty noise.

So, no way to get it to sound like anything other than noise without decoding it on the xbox, thus my post above.

The only DTS you can get out of the xbox in one piece (ie still DTS that can be decoded by a DTS receiver) is DTS at 48kHz.

Cheers,
Jonathan

OK, I'm sure you're right.

I must check out whatever I thought worked again, and find that old readme.

Thanks for not shouting even though I've persisted in disagreeing Smile
