Hi,

I see at times popup messages saying that a recording is being deleted.
The popup does not last very long. Is there a way to increase the time, or a log that contains them?

I have set up so no recordings expire, but I still see the popup, and its hard to tell if any recording was actually deleted.

Running MythTV Version : v0.25.2-15-g46cab93
XBMC (13.0-ALPHA11 Git:8eb49b3). Platform: x86 Linux 64-bit

There is plenty of space available:

Anyone have any idea on why I get these popups (similar to the recording now / recording ended popups)?

Its to do with scheduling and recordings aren't being deleted, but you can disable them in xbmc's livetv settings.

Seems you have something that auto-expired or is about to do so.

I am guessing this is the liveTV component.
I have not done anything with expire on those.

teeedubb, I like seeing the popups for when recordings start etc.
Can you explain in a little more detail why these recording deleted messages are occurring?

Also the duration of the popups, can it be changed? and is it logged somewhere?

I identified the source of these messages.

They occur when myth discovers that the show was previously recorded.
The timer section of live tv puts the status to disabled and the popup says its been deleted.

Yeah I've seen these too. Freaked out the first time. Looked like all my new shows were being deleted. Would be nice if the deleted timer said something like "timer removed" or "schedule purged". Instead your first thought is a show is being deleted.

Sorry for bringing up this thread again, but i have the same issue and would like to get rid of these popups(and if someone wants these popups they should display "recording disabled", not "recording deleted").
Should i report a bug/feature request somewhere about this issue?
