Hello all,
I have XBMC on the PC and all was well.
I plugged in my HDMI and the sound works perfectly fine.
But when I load XBMC up I cannot get any audio at all via the HDMI
They just keep coming out of the pc speakers.

Under system settings>audio>

I have sound out put as HDMI
audio output device being WASPI: Speakers - Speakers/HP (Realtek High Definition Audio Device)

the only other option is

Directsound: speakers/hp (Realtek High Definition Audio Device)

Thats it.

IT did work. Until my son accidently clicked on restore XBMC to original settings. ?

Is the HDMI plugged in and the TV or AVR you are connected to switched on before starting XBMC? This must be done as XBMC detects audio devices at startup.
