I have a HDHOMERUN PRIME and i am using raspbmc. I love it but it takes forever to scroll through the DLNA channels. I was wondering two things.

1. is there a addon that will give me an EPG maybe from xmltv?
2. can i change the channel by just putting in the channel number rather then scrolling through all of them?


I have attempted a pvr backend. I love NPVR but i really dont want to go that route.

TV Guide addon in the xbmc repos will give you live tv and a xmltv guide with the hdhomerun. You need to go into HDHomerun setup program and select xbmc as your primary viewer, the setup program will generate a folder of .strm files in your user directory that you need to add as a video source in xbmc.
