Hi, I'm using one of the Gotham nightlies and would like to update to another one. Running Android (Jellybean) and moved XBMC to an SD with Link2sd. What is the process to install a new nightly without losing any of my settings?

Just install the new one over the old. No special steps needed.

If I do that then the old one is no longer there and the new one is not on the SD card.

Then move it again with Link2sd. Your settings files should still work in either case.
