Turning pi back on with remote when powered down?
#1
Hello there, complete noob so be gentle.
This has probably been asked before but here goes.
I have raspbmc on my pi,and use my iPhone 4S as the remote.
Everything works fine.
However, after powering down the pi in the correct way,so the pi is in standby,is there any way I can boot the pi back on from standby with the iPhone remote?
Or do I have to cut power, and turn power back on to reboot?
This I find quite tedious.
Thanks!!

The best suggestion is to leave it on. It costs about £3 a year to leave running continuously.

Why? That won't do anything useful to a Pi.
