How do i enable ssh with openelec?

Using openelec 4.0
Tried the method of using ssh_enable file, didnt work

i've read about adding something to the cmd line
but cant find that file.

any help pls

Under settings use mq5 skin then in pull down menu and chose settings. So dont go into main menu settings
