Only a few Android boxes have supported this in the past but today several new Android media players have begun featuring both HDMI-input and HDMI-output and it would be cool if Kodi could utilize that function. This is also something that have been available for a while in some computers and computer graphics adapters as well as, so this feature should also be possible to achieve on Linux too at least.
Realtek 1195, Hisilicon K3V2, Rockchip RK3288, and Amlogic S812 for example are all relatively new SoCs for Android which can feature both HDMI-input and HDMI-output, however there are also Android boxes available with older SoCs from other manufacturers which feature HDMI-input as well.
Some specific Android boxes that available today with HDMI-input are for example: Ugoos UT3, EC EC-U6D, Eweat EW902, Nagrace HPH NT-V6, Giniatech/Mygica ATV1200, ATV1610, and ATV1810, Huawei MediaQ M310, Enjoy TV, and Asus Cube V2 with Google TV. Geniatech Dragon Board I and Dragon Board II are also Amlogic AML8726-MX and Amlogic S802 based developer boards respectively that both features HDMI-input and supporting both Android 4.x and embedded Linux.
