Hi,
Is it possible to have an icon (thumbnail) for android apps on the home screen.
I am able to add an icon for the add on ITV player but not for 4oD which I have as an android app on my MiniX .
I can access both of these through the favourites which shows the icons.

it depends on which skin you're using.
Confluence, the default skin, does not support it,
but there are several other skins that allow you to
add items from favourites to the homescreen.

I use CCM (customisable Confluence Mod) skin and it can be set up very similar to the original confluence if you wanted but is VERY customisable and can add favourites to the homescreen.
Didn't know there was a 4od android app. I'll have a look for the apk. I'm trying to find the itv player apk also as I'm not in the UK so cant always get them easily from the store

Lots of the skins are incompatible with my Kodi, so will try the few that are listed as OK.
The 4oD app as well as BBCiplayer where downloaded from Aptiode as I also live outside the UK and Play Store will not allow me to download.
The ITV player app has lots of Adds so I prefer the Kodi (XBMC ) version.
All work well with a smart DNS service and a fast internet connection.
