I upgraded to the Kodi daily compiled on Oct 31 2014 and noticed that BigStepForward and BigStepBackward don't work as expected; the up and down keys on the Dpad act as Volume-Up and Volume-Down.

So I copy joystick.AppleRemote.xml to the userdata folder and edit the FullscreenVideo section to remap these keys, restart Kodi but still the same behavior.

What did I do wong?

Odd. Can you get us a debug log (wiki)? Be sure to play a movie and try up/down for the log, as well.

This is the log from where I start playing a file, try a BigStepForward keypress (which does not work), then hit Menu to get out of playing the file.

Weird. I'll try testing this when the ATV2 is available in my house.
