UPNP issue under Kodi@Android 14.0 RC2
#1
Bug
I've installed Kodi 14.0 RC2 on Android 4.4.2 Minix-box NEO X8, kernel linux 3.10.33

Attached a HDD, mounted as [sda1]

Switched on: UPNP options in system > settings > services > UPnP >
- share video and music libraries throught UPnp -> yes
Look for remote UPnP players > yes
other options disabled in this tab.

On my iPhone i use a DLNA client named: AcePlayer or MediaConnect
On both apps, the UPnP server [Kodi] is succesfully discovered (I named it Kodi).

Now I want to stream content from Kodi to my iDevice in Aceplayer.

/* aceplayer -> [SDA1] */
Aceplayer > Media Explorer > Media Servers > Kodi > Video Library > Files > sda1
Error message: browse failed.

/* mediaconnect -> [SDA1] */
In MediaConnect, with the same routing as in aceplayer, the errormessage appears as:
Error code 701
UPnP Error: Incorrect ObjectID

I just want to play files on this hdd on my iDevice streamed by Kodi's UPnP (DLNA)

What could the problem be? Is it a bug?

And on other DLNA servers, I can define wich folders I would like to share and what kind of content it is, but this is not possible in UPnP ?

Can you browse SDA1 directly with Kodi?

Issue not fixed, but I created a video content folder from this volume (a directory within this volume).

Now it is reachable as folder in UPnP
