is kodi 14 or gotham 13.2 compatible with windows 8??if not is their a way for me to still watch

Go with the stable Gotham 13.2, loads up nicely. I tried Kodi RC3 on an new ASUS box running Win 8.1 and ran into install issues (Direct X) while Gotham has been around the block a few times.

Have you seen the thread that says "install Helix nightly"?

Missed that in my haste to install on a new machine fresh out of the box with an audience of 4, I knew that a fix was most likely, but reverting would be solid, and so it was.
