Seems like someone was tidying up some old recordings and inadvertently elected to delete the ".." entry inside one of the folders for a particular TV Show. The ".." entry being an alias for the "Default" folder that contains the folders for every show, Kodi dutifully deleted every recording I have. You could call it expected behaviour, but from a user experience perspective the delete command in Kodi could stand to be a little friendlier than the POSIX "rm" command.

Would it greatly inconvenience anyone if Kodi didn't allow the delete command to be applied to ".." entries?

Would this fall under the category of bug report, or feature request?
