Fist, a big thank you for the people who work hard on the software, it's fantastic and I recommend it to all I come across who need something of the sort.
There in lies my problem. A friend of mine, who I have got started on it, is experiencing issues with sound over HDMI to his 7.1 receiver. Everything else works very well, even the sound properly outputting to all the speakers correctly. We've changed ports on the receiver, cables, and even tried an alternate Kodi system, but the static only persists on his unit.
