Hi to all,
I own a Panasonic AX900 4K TV that perfectly supports video input@10/12 bit.
I normally use my Oppo 103 outputting 1080p/12bit signal and see very smooth gradients (12bit really improve image quality).
Now,
latest ATI RADEON Catalyst drivers supports 10/12bit output....
But If I play my test file (gradient file taken from AVS HD test disc) I can't see smoth gradients....
Like you can see grey ramp is not smooth (you can see vertical small bars).
This is the prove that my Kodi HTPC reproduce video @8bit only.
There is a way to force Kodi to use the new feature offered by catalyst new drivers??
Many thanks.
P.S My HTPC is Win7 32bit based and my Graphic card is a RADEON 7770.
