Hi,
I've done research but i cant figure out why my wired xbox 360 controller is not working.
I've visited this forum:
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=135871
What i've done to get it to work:
I got the name from the kodi.log and changed it in the downloaded keymapping.xml which i placed in the keymap folder in userdata:
"<joystick name="Controller (Afterglow Gamepad for Xbox 360)">
<altname>Afterglow Gamepad for Xbox 360 (Controller)</altname>
<altname>Controller (Gamepad F310)</altname>
<altname>Controller (Gamepad for Xbox 360)</altname>"
This didnt change anything. To figure out if kodi recieves any input from the controller: yes. When i enable debugging i get output like:
20:13:43 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 value 8
20:13:43 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 hat centered
20:13:43 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 value 8
20:13:43 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 hat centered
20:13:44 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 value 8
20:13:44 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 hat centered
20:13:44 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 value 8
20:13:44 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 hat centered
20:13:44 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 value 8
20:13:44 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 hat centered
20:13:44 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 value 8
20:13:44 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 hat centered
20:13:45 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 value 8
20:13:45 T:4972 DEBUG: Joystick 0 hat 1 hat centered
So as far as i understand: kodi recieves input but does not respond to it.
What to do?
Controller works fine in stream big picture btw.
