whats the miniunium mb/s internet speed to run a quad core android box minix x8 ? thinking of using it abroad but the internet speed is only 3 to 5 mb/s at best . will it still work or will it just buffer ?

the minimum speed is "0", because you can use the program without any internet at all. We don't provide any videos or services, and we're just a video player for the living room. See: http://kodi.wiki/view/Intro_FAQ#Where_do...ws_from.3F
In other words, if it's fast enough or not depends entirely on what you want to specifically do with it. If you're using a video service, first make sure it doesn't violate our forum rules (wiki) before asking about it, but even then it would be best to ask whoever controls that service/add-on.
