I need a backup unraid server. I want something small, that holds 4 HDDs and only costs $200ish.

Can it be done?

The alternative is a Netgear ReadyNAS 4-bay for $220.

Most NAS RAID devices also have the option for non-raid.

This is on sale, no idea if it is good or what...

Nice find. But after reading about it, it says it take a max of 4TB total. Ugh.

hmmm, weird.... For the same unit but with disk it says 2TB-12TB...
Have no idea why there would be a difference.
