Hi,
With some of my videos I have the problem that the border of the videos is bad. Older videos have some noise in it, the music videos very often have the TV stations logo in one of the corners with in the black bars. Suddenly the Auto Crop feature of Kodi cannot solve this.
So I'm requesting to support the crop elements of the Matroska specification (http://matroska.org/technical/specs/index.html)
If this would be supported it is only necessary to set the values within the header. There's no quality loss because of recoding. Remuxing is not needed. If the elements exist the video is cropped accordingly and treated by Kodi like if would have that cropped size by default. I checked the forum and found some other users being interested in this feature too.
I think if its a 3D video the cropping has to be done for each eye.
Would be happy for any feedback.
Thanks
