Have had a stable configuration running for months - latest ServerWMC and clients, but not Kodi. All of a sudden, I noticed I've lost 3 of my 6 tuners (basically one of the HDHR boxes)! Not sure how long this has been the situation. I have 2 HDHomeRun Primes with CCard(s). I can see all 6 tuners with the SiliconDust setup, they all find channels, and I can use 6 quickTV windows simultaneously, 7th one reports "No Tuners Available", so I know the WMC server box can see all the tuners. WMC though only reports 3 tuners. I've re-run TunerSalad, etc, all to no avail.

Server WMC actually reported 6 tuners also, but the first 3 were "disabled" - I assume that's b/c WMC can't see them.

I've re-run the WMC setup several times - each time it reports only 3 tuners found.

Now those are the only tuners that ServerWMC can see.

As you've mentioned already, ServerWMC will only "see" what WMC can, so you are pretty much down to a straight out WMC problem and nothing particular to ServerWMC. This hopefully means that you can expand your troubleshooting net to anybody with disappearing tuners in WMC land, and thus other online resources like greenbutton etc may help you find a solution.

I havent used TunerSalad myself but as I understand it even without TunerSalad you should be able to detect up to 4 tuners and thus would expect both devices to be seen?

Although it wouldnt be a fun process you could try completely resetting WMC and trying to do setup again? Also could try uninstalling the HDHomeRun drivers/devices and then setting up again...

I guess before doing something that drastic, if you have another windows PC (and ideally windows 7 since you dont have to pay for WMC!) you could see whether a new/separate/fresh WMC is able to correctly see both tuners or not.
