Are you sure it is actually gone? The settings should appear only if you have a passthrough capable device connected. Make sure the audio device is turned on and connected before you start Kodi, as Kodi will not see audio devices that are turned on afterwards.

I'm sure if I drop v14.2b1 on my lounge (main) Mac Mini (connected to my amp via HDMI) and launch the settings are no longer there (not available to be set), I then overwrite with v14.1 and they come back again, repeat etc. All the time amp left turned on and is definitely passthrough capable as I use it all the time. Other settings seem fine (from a quick glance).

Only thing I'm not sure about is whether or not passthrough remains in operation regardless of disappearing from settings - amp was definitely still receiving 5.1 however this might have been resampled.

Amazon Fire TV: 14.1 Beta 1 (17th Feb)

1. It was dropping frames randomly in 14.0, every minute or so. Not had any dropped frames at all since upgrading. So this seems to be fixed.

2. If I skipped forward 30 seconds a number of times ( say 3+ times to skip the intro of a movie/tv show) in 14.0 the audio would start and play fine but the video would judder, it looked like it was trying to catch-up - but it never would catch-up and play normally. If I paused and then played it would fix itself.

In 14.2 Beta 1 Its not fully resolved but has been improved. Sometimes skipping works perfectly and other times the video is all broken up, it speeds up and slows down while the audio plays perfectly...again, pressing pause and play fixes it.

This also happens to me. I changed the Decoding method to "Acceleration to "Hardware accelerated" where it was on Software on 14.1. I have two FireTVs on on 14.1 the other on 14.2. The 14.1 must use "Decoding method "Software" but the 14.2 uses "Decoding method "Hardware". This is me and it works and no dropping frames or Audio desyncing. Give this a try. Again this is on two FireTVs. Good luck.

Picture pauses intermittently while audio keeps going.
Pauses intermittently as if pause has been pressed.

Kodi-14.2-Helix_beta1. --- non of the above.
working very well.

Kodi 15.0 Alpha, quarter picture when connected to TV at 1080p.

PIL does not import correctly. not sure if that is an Apple problem in general or just on your local installation.

Phil, just tested it on a macbook. On kodi 14.1 no problems, Updated to 14.2 beta and the same problem occurs as above.

Do i have to move the bug report to the kodi 14.2 beta or osx section ? Or is it still correct here.
