It is not illegal or immoral to sell kodi, it is specifically allowed by the GPL2. Companies like Redhat sell Linux because they can add a lot to an organisation's computing infrastructure by providing paid support and development of client specific services.
Similarly if I can load kodi on a machine, and you can't, i am entitled to charge you for installing it. (More likely I will suggest you buy a 6 pack and we do it together at your place, i make a friend and get a beer!)
What is not on is selling "fully loaded" boxes which breach the terms of the trademark. I think that's what we are all against isn't it?
