This question isn't specific to Kodi so apologies, but figured someone else here may have encountered this.
I added a USB IR dongle to my FireTV so I could control it with my Harmony remote. Working pretty well for the most part, with the occasional double key press - still working on that.
One issue though - when I launch the Netflix app (from FTV home menu, not from Kodi), I get a pop-up warning saying that the Netflix app requires a Fire TV Remote or Game Controller and neither is connected. There is a "Launch" button in the dialog box that I can click, and Netflix will load and work normally.
I am guessing that even though my regular FTV remote has batteries in it and is sitting next to me, if it isn't used the launch Netflix, the app (or FTV itself) don't realize it is connected and the warning is generated.
Anyone else run into this and know of a way to bypass the warning without clicking "Launch" each time? I am not rooted.
