I have downloaded kodi and save to my desktop, now when I click on the icon it starts to install again. How can I stop this so when I click on it kodi will start without starting setup again. Help Please

If you continue to click on the install icon, it will continue to try and re-install. Perhaps you can put this archive aside, and using the windows explorer migrate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi and click on Kodi.exe and ensure it works, then paste a shortcut icon to the desktop.
